Whilst i ABBAsolutely love Sorana and her stupendous achievement it pales into insignificance compared to the exploits of EMMA at USO 2021.
EMMA didn't enjoy the luxury of 7 matches and 14 sets to achieve the 'SPECTACULAR',
she endured the much more ardous task of havin to win 10 matches and 20 sets at a Grand Slam at 18yrs old playin in just her 2nd ever GS !!
Stupid highlights as usual from WTA…. Li hits winners and then somehow Cirstea has match point x2?

7 matches, 14 sets, it may have been a 250 tournament but she won as many matches as it takes to win any other tournament, truly deserved. Also won her first masters 1000 tournament this year in doubles with Kalinskaya (which might be the most beautiful team ever assembled lol!) Been a fan of hers since day one 17 years ago,, this was special to watch. A year ago she was on crutches and may never have played tennis again and now she's having 1 of her best years.
