hold up, can we go back to Putin and his 6 clones??
Ridley’s movies are always a stunning visual treat. The fact that he has also been responsible for several genre defining movies assures his place in the pantheon of greats
An incredibly skilled artist, and I'm so impressed by his few words during the Apple Commercial segment: "…we're basically being controlled by a hierarchy…this is genius and a f*ckin' disaster…" said as Ridley holds up a smartphone. His insight into culture is what has made his artwork so relevant, time after time.
Proud of himself, isn't he? So non-humble. LOL
Bro made Prometheus and Covenant. No one cares about what he thinks it canon
What a pos. But at least it’s clear now the success had had early was because of the team around him. The downfall is well deserved
And yet, not one mention of the iconic Hovis "Boy on the Bike" advert.
Tried to watch Legend with my kids. What a mess that movie is.
One of my favourite directors period… but I def wouldn't classify Gladiator 2 as 'iconic' in any way shape of form. It was a very bland copy/paste of the original ICONIC movie.
I gotta say, as much respect as I have for the dude the Gladiator sequel is probably some of the worst shite I've ever seen (I'm not British but I feel I can use that term). Alien and Blade Runner are two of my favorite movies but Gladiator II almost undid it all.
I've got a great eye. Lmfao gladiator has more mistakes than any other movie in history.
I don't want to be nitpicky but Blade Runner wasn't Sean Young's first movie. She had appeared in the movie Stripes the year before.
Didn't include kingdom of heaven movie. Such a great movie.
Gladiator II was just…awful
He really needs to have more confidence in his own abilities!
Black Hawk Down is my favorite movie
Ridley Scott looks like he decided to stop ageing when he was 65 or so.
Sometimes you don’t need to meet your heros. 😂
one of the best directors ever!
i hope the odyssey directed by christopher nolan brings back the sword and sandal genre. Also, we need more legendary historical epics in general like we got in the early 2000s. Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, Gladiator, The Patriot, 300, king arthur. I love all of these movies and want to see another era just like that. more movies about rome's great generals, emperors, movies set in the 1700s and 1800s that are directed by the greatest talents and the like. That whole vibe is something im missing very much.
