Another special new visual has been unveiled for the upcoming Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter TV anime series, highlighting the second daughter of the Leinster family and Lydia’s younger sister, Lynne. The series is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 5, 2025.
Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Love Flops, Ayaka, Vampire Dormitory) is directing the anime series, with Kazuya Ishiguri (Vampire Dormitory) as assistant director, Megumi Shimizu (Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) as series screenwriter, Akiko Yokota (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) as character designer, and Sayaka Takemoto (Beyblade X sub-character designer) as sub-character designer. Studio Blanc is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars:

The anime is based on the fantasy light novel series, written by Riku Nanano and includes illustrations from cura. It was first published under Kadokawa’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint on December 20, 2018 and has released 19 volumes as of April 2025. A 20th volume will be released on July 18, 2025.
The series began as a web novel on Kakuyomu on October 6, 2017. It also inspired a 2018 manga adaptation by Tamura Muto that has released four tankobon volumes as of February 2024.
J-Novel Club licensed the Private Tutor to the Duke’s Daughter light novel and manga series for release in English digitally, describing the main synopsis as:
After failing the final exam for his dream job at the royal court, promising young sorcerer Allen wants nothing more than to retreat to a simple life in the countryside. Unfortunately for him, he can’t even afford the train fare! His only solution is to get a job, but his one lead is anything but modest — Duke Howard, one of the kingdom’s most powerful nobles, needs a private tutor for his daughter Tina.
Despite her academic brilliance, Tina is incapable of casting even a single spell.
