Hi, I’m Melissa – I’ve been a volunteer cat foster parent for two years, and a lifelong cat lover who’s had many special kitties as pets. I pride myself on understanding cat communication and body language very well, and interacting with them on their terms. Whether they want to snuggle, play, or even hide, I create a safe and peaceful environment for them to be themselves. I love all of their unique personalities and delight in getting to know them, even for a short time. I’ve included pictures with me snuggling with my foster cats – from the most outgoing to the absolute shyest, I’ve bonded with all of them and they all have a special place in my heart! I know your kitty is one of your most special family members and I take the responsibility to care for them very seriously. 

If you live near Fort Green and need to leave the city for a few weeks, Melissa might be available to welcome your beloved feline in her two bedroom apartment. In-home boarding is a good option for your mid/long term needs, you bring your cat/s to the caregiver’s apartment where they will be the ONLY pets!
