BC Parks, Líl̓wat Nation and N’Quatqua have partnered to manage Pipi7íyekw / Joffre Lakes Park. With the increased number of visitors to the park, this partnership will help to balance the increased number of visitors to the park with sustaining and conserving the natural and cultural values of the region.The

The park will be CLOSED from April 25 – May 16, 2025.

When the park re-opens on Saturday, May 17th, free day-use passes will be required.

Day Use Passes

A free day-use pass will be required to access Joffre Lakes starting May 17, 2025. Passes can be reserved beginning at 7am, two days before visiting the Park and can be done online via BC Parks’ website.
