When most watch brands partner with automotive companies, the result is predictable: logo swaps, color schemes, and surface-level branding. But H. Moser & Cie.’s collaboration with Alpine Motorsports breaks this mold entirely. Since 2024, these two pioneering companies have pursued something far more ambitious—a genuine engineering partnership. Presenting two new revolutionary timepieces: the Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition in a 200-piece limited edition and the Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition in a 500-piece limited edition. These watches represent an unprecedented fusion of haute horlogerie and cutting-edge technology, designed not for marketing impact but for real-world racing applications.
Both watches embody H. Moser & Cie.’s commitment to functional innovation. The Drivers Edition features contemporary anthracite finishing on its skeleton calibre, housed in a 42.3 mm steel case with blue PVD treatment and integrated white rubber strap. Meanwhile, the Mechanics Edition utilizes a 42.6 mm steel case with blue composite elements and sophisticated connected movement technology developed with SEQUENT.
This duo represents the opening chapter of an ongoing collaboration designed for longevity, not quick wins. The watches are sold together in an exclusive presentation case, limited to just 200 pieces, and priced at USD 70,000. The Mechanics Edition is also available separately to owners of the 2024 Streamliner Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton Alpine series.
This partnership demonstrates H. Moser & Cie.’s unique approach to haute horlogerie—one that prioritizes genuine innovation over superficial branding, creating timepieces that serve real purposes in the demanding world of professional motorsports.

The Driver’s Companion: Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition
Born from direct conversations with Alpine drivers who wanted timepieces as sophisticated as their race cars, this mechanical chronograph pushes traditional watchmaking to its limits. At its heart lies the skeletonized HMC 700 caliber, featuring AGENHOR’s high-performance movement in its first transparent iteration.

The watch’s aesthetic directly reflects racing DNA. Two visible bridges form V-shapes that mirror single-seater suspension geometry, while the central bridge resembles a driver’s helmet—honoring those who risk everything on the track. The skeleton rotor echoes Alpine A110 wheel rim dynamics, creating visual harmony between automotive and horological engineering with every rotation.

Functionality matches form with a flyback chronograph that restarts instantaneously—because in Formula 1, as in precision timekeeping, every second matters. The minimalist design features central minute and seconds displays without subdials, emphasizing the clarity drivers need during high-speed decision-making.

The new H. Moser & Cie. Alpine Drivers Edition is powered by the Calibre HMC 700 developed with AGENHOR for H. Moser & Cie., a fully skeletonized automatic movement with skeletonised tungsten oscillating weight, positioned between the movement and the dial, a double barrel, a column wheel chronograph with two-stage chronograph mechanism and horizontal clutch with friction wheel. The movement is composed of 434 parts and provides a minimum power reserve of 72 hours.

The Team’s Secret Weapon: Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition
This model represents a world first: a timepiece designed specifically as a Formula 1 work tool rather than a luxury accessory. Developed through intensive collaboration with Alpine teams, it addresses the real needs of engineers and mechanics who orchestrate racing’s behind-the-scenes precision.
“We wanted to create a measuring instrument that meets Formula 1 team demands—a tool designed to improve their race against the clock and quest for every precious second,” explains Edouard Meylan, H. Moser & Cie. CEO.
The watch combines digital innovation with analog tradition. Its mysterious black screen remains silent on standby, then activates with essential information: GMT with country selection, split-second chronograph, perpetual calendar, and specialized F1 mode featuring race countdowns and key moment notifications.

Yet it maintains classical elements with a small domed Funky Blue fumé dial displaying traditional time and date functions, proving precision and style can coexist. The timepiece operates autonomously while syncing via Bluetooth when needed via a SYNC push button at 9 o’clock, with remarkable endurance: one year in time-only mode, and six Grand Prix weekends in connected mode.
The Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition is powered by the Calibre DI0 developed with SEQUENT for H. Moser & Cie, connected movement with an accuracy of ±0.3 seconds per day and composed of 186 components with a 9,000 power reserve. This watch is iOS and Android Compatible.
