The forceptails are back! Unfortunately he’s perching on the Red-tailed pennant’s perch – and the pennant is gone. These big (3-inch) blue-eyed, Deep South clubtails are flying a month earlier than last year. They hold up their tails like a flame. There is no other known population farther north in Georgia and only spotty records north of the state.
