“What do you mean, I can’t have this beautiful rawhide bone?”

"We went shopping for my Christmas present and I picked out this huge rawhide bone but Mom said NO. I’m not allowed to have rawhide or real bones. Once, a long time ago, I got a raw femur bone and chewed it all up in 45 minutes. Dr. Bahou did his X-ray thing and and saw lots of pieces of big bone and said, ‘No more bones for Benni.’ That was it.
But, we did buy an approved chew toy, also 2 bags of cookies, and I got to walk up and down every aisle at the big pet store, smelling cat food, dog food and real mice and rats. A great outing!"
