Euromast is a famous observation tower in the west part of downtown Rotterdam, next to The Park. At a height of 185m to the spire it is the 2nd tallest structure in Rotterdam. It was built in 1960. It is one of the most recognized landmarks on Rotterdam’s skyline.
Here you see the skyline of the city of Rotterdam with the river Maas and harbour and right the ss Rotterdam, the biggest ocean-going steamer ever built in the Netherlands. As the former flagship of the Holland-America Line, this cruise liner has sailed many of the world’s seas since 1959. The ship is now moored permanently in the Maashaven in Rotterdam.
