The Watcher (15)

The search for the truth can be enigmatic.
Steganography is the art (as well as the science) of communicating in a hidden way. It is referred to as "transmission security", or TRANSEC in military literature. Its goal is to hide messages inside other "harmless" messages in such a way that an "enemy" would not even know a second secret message was present.
OpenPuff Steganography and Watermarking, sometimes abbreviated OpenPuff or Puff, is a free steganography tool for Microsoft Windows created by Cosimo Oliboni and still maintained as independent software. The program is notable for being the first steganography tool.
The first use of steganography can be traced back to 440 BC when ancient Greece, people wrote messages on wood and covered it with wax, that acted as a covering medium. Romans used various forms of Invisible Inks, to decipher those hidden messages light or heat were used
During World War II the Germans introduced microdots, which were complete documents, pictures, and plans reduced in size to the size of a dot and were attached to normal paperwork
Null Ciphers were also used to hide unencrypted secret messages in an innocent looking normal message.
The watcher series of shots can be seen in my album "The watcher".
