World Interclub 1951 – Rio Cup
The final was between Soccer Teams Palmeiras, Brazil and Juventus Soccer Team, Italy. In the first game, the score was 1 to 0 for the "alviverde" (my team Palmeiras, green and white) imposing and in the second tie by 2 to 2.
The Palmeiras Futebol Clube team became champion and returned the smile to the Brazilian nation, who were disillusioned with the defeat of the men’s soccer team to the Uruguayan team in the final of the World Cup in the Rio de Janeiro stadium (Maracanã), Brazil. at the 1950 World Cup.
