The Good Old Days For Me
Image by A Guy Named Nyal
Me, my father, and little brother in the backyard. This would have been in the mid 60s, in El Paso Texas.
Funny how when you look at these old photos you realize how simple life was for you. No worries, no hurries, the high point of the day was watching for my dad to come home at the end of the day. Little bit of school, little bit of play time. I do believe I’d pay very well to live these days over again.
I’d go back and look at the old house again but I’ve been warned against it by folks who still live there. They tell me the area is now called the "Drug Triangle" and I have no business going anywhere near the place. Kind of sad…
This is a copy of an old slide I found in a shoebox.
