Day 259 of 365 (Year Two)
I posted this shot on Friday. It was posted due to the fact that I got "let go" on Friday. The economy hasn’t been good to the construction industry including the architectural businesses. I was kind of irritated about it, but I understood their reasoning. We had a few major jobs dry up and go nowhere and while it sucks for me, they made a business decision that was best for them. I’m not thrilled about having to start looking for a job, especially in the current economy, but it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a job that is more suited to my likes and passions. It may also open up the possibility of going back to school for some type of photography degree. Time will tell. Things will be really tight for awhile, but we’ll survive and we’ll come out on the other side better off than we were, or at least that is the plan.
