Matarazzo Building, also known as Palácio do Anhangabaú (Anhangabaú Palace) is the cityhall of the city of São Paulo, Brazil. It belonged to Banespa until 2004, when it was sold to the city government. It was designed by Italian architect Marcello Piacentini (Benito Mussolini’s favorite architect) under the will of Ermelino Matarazzo, in order to host the headquarters of his industries. The building’s architectural style looks like Art Deco.
According to the deal made with Banespa, the building would be given to the city government as part of the debt of 885 million reais (some 466 million dollars) that the extinct CMTC had with the bank. The city would then owe 156 million reais, to be paid in four years.

O Edifício Matarazzo, também conhecido como Palácio do Anhangabaú, é a sede da prefeitura da cidade de São Paulo desde 2004. Por ter pertencido anteriormente ao Banespa, tem o apelido de Banespinha.
Está localizado no Vale do Anhangabaú, junto ao Viaduto do Chá. É conhecido por seu telhado verde, localizado no último andar do edifício. Também possui um heliponto.
Foi projetado pelo arquiteto italiano Marcello Piacentini, a mando do empresário Francisco Matarazzo Júnior, e abrigou por anos a sede de suas indústrias. O projeto possui estilo neoclássico simplificado, desenvolvido por Piacentini e largamente utilizado na Itália nos anos 30, utilizando simbologia da época do Império Romano e que foi também adotada pelo regime fascista. O prédio tem 14 andares e 27.800 m² de área construída.
