Title: Gorman-Rupp of Canada Limited, St. Thomas pump manufacturers, planned to enter Canada’s vast pulp and paper market when tests on this pump were completed. The pump was designed to carry thickened pulp used in papermaking to suitable storage facilities. Seen inspecting the pump in operations in May 1965 are, left to right, H. E. Rupp and J. C. Gorman, co-chairmen of the board of directors and founders of The Gorman-Rupp Company; William S. Miller, vice-president in charge of sales, and M. Dail Thompson, works manager.
