Giant Squid Sculpture HDR

In Pike Place Market, just below the wind-up toy shop, you can find this gorgeous gleaming squid sculpture. "Architeuthis wickleinus seattlei" was created by Pat Wickline in 2001, using copper, resin, fiberglass, and steel. Interestingly, this was a time before any giant squid had been captured on video, much less seen alive by human eyes.
