Two days ago I brought a visit to Gallery Aaldering which is in Brummen, some 6 km south of Zutphen. It is a car dealership. The owner has a small segment in a car show on Dutch television where he drives around and tells about old cars.
It is a beautiful place and looks like a museum. Entrance: no tengo dinero. It has 4 levels and about 250 cars. This is the Ferrari 308 GT4 Dino. Dino badging on the hood. Nice 15" wheels. I love these straight lines from 70s cars. Beautiful shape and nicely proportioned. 70s, 80s and 90s were the Golden Age of car design. Notice how I didn’t start the previous sentence with ‘I think’? That is because I bring you the facts. Everything I write about cars are facts. There is no time to question my thoughts about automobiles. If you need car advice you come to me. Don’t listen to your friends. You know they are losers and don’t know shit about cars. I’m the car guru, the kuruma sensei, and I charge you nothing because I care what you drive.
Cars of today have to meet all kinds of safety regulations. The front and rear lights have to wrap around the sides. The front has the be high and round to be pedestrain friendly. And that is why 99% of todays cars look like crap. But there is still hope:
