Christmas Eve Under Mount Shasta
I’ve had my eye on this composition for some time now and I’ve been waiting for the right conditions to bag it. I had really high hopes this time despite the normal high winds for the area. I was standing out in the 50mph winds timing my shots between wind gusts with about 6 layers of clothes to keep warm. I did get some color, but it didn’t live up to the full potential I had hoped for, but I still like how it turned out.
In case you’ve been following my work, this is the same family barn I’ve posted several shots of in the past. Only now, maybe a little more context about where it is because I don’t geotag shots taken on my family’s properties.
