California Street at midnight
After giving a Composition in the Field photography class in San Rafael I passed by San Francisco. At around midnight I went to the intersection of California Street and Powell Street. The cable cars were no longer running, so it was safe to take this longe exposure shot in the middle of the street facing east towards the Bay Bridge.
I’ll give a Composition in the Field talk at the San Jose Camera & Video store in Campbell this Wednesday, June 8th at 7pm, organized by Professional Photographers of Santa Clara Valley. Please feel free to join in person or online! Free registration at PPSCV.com, registration is required.
I processed a realistic and a balanced HDR photos from two RAW exposures, blended them selectively, carefully adjusted the color balance and curves, and desaturated the image. I welcome and appreciate constructive comments.
