St. Mellion Golf Club’s 2017 Lady Captain’s Day was hosted by this year’s Lady Captain Pam Hughes. A full entry kept Pam and her band of helpers extremely busy. Checking everyone in was this year’s Vice Captain Glennis Wootton and Press Officer Wendy Phillips. And to keep all those golfers going Pam’s partner Stan Serwata, Pam’s daughter Sally and granddaughters Millie & Izzy were on hand to dish out free drinks and snacks at the Halfway House. The weather forecast was not good but after a coolish start the sun shone and it turned out to be a very pleasant day. After the golf the ladies enjoyed sandwiches and cream tea in the St. Piran Suite followed by presentation of prizes. Well done Pam, a really nice day.
