AMMUNITION LOCKERS, PRESIDIO, SAN FRANCISCO, CA.

The Presidio, San Francisco was turned over to the National Park Service in 1994. In prior years it was mostly abandoned and generally open to the public. I believe this was taken in the early 90’s. On this day there were very few people around, and open exploration was possible. There were leterally hundreds of abandoned buildings and structures, and it was all wide open. In this area there was not a soul. I did not venture into most of these spaces out of fear that some people might be living in them. Wish I had had more time and guts to explore further. Crappy picture but a fascinating place.
