A Hoopoe in a casual stroll
While on a drive in the countryside, found 4 of these birds pecking in this dirt road. They were quite busy and didn’t seem to notice my vehicle. Some where walking left to right and vice versa on the 6 foot wide road. The wet conditions and fog seems to be nurturing lots of insects that these birds prefer.
Hoopoe are resident birds in India and could be seen throughout the year.
