I LOVE BALLS!
Was there a highlight to the 2024 gigging season? You betcha. An absolutely magnificent pair of balls.
Newcastle University’s Ski and Snowboard Club (aka NUSSC)’s spring ball and Northumbria Uni’s Law Ball to be precise.
Birthday parties? They’re great. Weddings? Pretty much my bread and butter. Engagements, christenings, proms, dinners? Love ‘em. But there’s something about good balls that makes my smile especially wide.
I JUST LOVE BALLS!
(I reckon it’s a combination of especially fancy clothes, beautifully decorated rooms, and fine dining that gives balls that extra bit of sparkle. Oh, and of course the booze. The copious amounts of booze. Note to self – don’t go boozing with a snowboarder.)
Anyhoo, enough reminiscing. Winter ball season is just around the corner, and I can’t wait.
