It’s almost time for Heroes Convention once again! You’ve got Megan here today to give you all the scoop. This will be my FOURTH Heroes already… and Skottie’s TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FOURTH or something like that. We REALLY like it there.
Heroes is going down June 20-22! We had LONG lines all weekend again last year. I’m always tweaking how we manage things to make it as efficient as possible but also allow you all time with Skottie and never want you to feel rushed. One of the things we did last year to help on that front was sign privately for vendors and retailers with over 100 books. We are going to offer some spots again this year!
UPDATE: TUESDAY 5/20 12:55pm PRIVATE SIGNING TIMES ARE FULL. WE’LL SEE YOU AT SKOTTIE’S TABLE DURING HIS REGULAR SIGNING TIMES. WE USUALLY TAKE UP TO 40 BOOKS AT A TIME. THANKS EVERYONE!
Private Signings will be available on Thursday, June 19 from 10am-5pm for vendors and retailers with a 100 BOOOK MINIMUM. These spots are on a first come basis and do tend to fill up quickly. I will edit the newsletter once we are filled up to reflect that! Signatures are $ 10 raw and $ 30 graded (same as at the table). We will not have a witness so you will need to bring your own.

We’ll be at Skottie’s table signing and selling all 3 days! We’ll have our usual awesome wares but also a limited number of Absolute Batman #1 that we held onto just for our Heroes Crew and our nearly sold out Exquisite Corpses #1. Both of these will be limited to ONE copy per person/family/group and enforced.
Skottie will be at his table all three days. We don’t yet have info on our table number and a few weekend events so this will shift a little bit and we’ll keep it updated HERE on the website. Skottie’s approximate schedule will be:

Skottie will have a Spotlight Panel in here somewhere so the schedule will adjust. Time TBD. We hope you’ll schedule it into your day because… WE’LL HAVE A SMALL EXCLUSIVE PRINT JUST FOR PANEL ATTENDEES! That’s correct. We are bribing you to come. Limited to one per person while supplies last.

Skottie is not sketching or taking commissions at conventions but we will have some original art! I’m digging through archives looking for some golden oldies as well as new hotness.

Raw signatures are $ 10 each. Anything you buy at the table from us includes a free signature!

Graded signatures are $ 30 each.

CGC will be offering ON-SITE grading at Heroes again this year. That means you get to take home your graded book with you and save on shipping fees! You can get more information on their website here.

We kindly ask that you do not go live or record for WhatNot, Ebay Live, etc.

We ask that you have your books prepped BEFORE you hit the table. That way you can spend your time talking to Skottie and not fumbling with bags and boards. And, it’s just polite to everyone behind you in line so that we can keep it moving. In the same respect, we ask that you move away from the table to put your books back inside bags. You can do this at open tables, usually several near us at eating areas, but not in front of our neighbors tables.
