
Often in school, the students
will ask how to draw some
animal. Usually, we start
with simple shapes just
to get a feel of the whole
picture. Sketching lightly
helps when it is time to
erase many of these lines.
This is a sketch of a little
raccoon. Notice many of the
original lines disappear or
change shape as the
drawing continues to
come together. Having
the original outline of the
whole picture will help
keep your drawing true.
