Draw a Dog for Kids

 My granddaughter came over the

other day, and we started drawing

dogs. I thought of this easy design

for her to use. Maybe your young

ones will like it, too.

First, draw a circle for the head. Put

an oval nose toward the bottom of

the circle with a straight, horizontal

line extending below it-like a lollipop.

Add a smile at the end of that.

Draw two big eyes next and

eyebrows which add expression!

Now for some ears. On the top of the

circle, but to the sides, draw triangles

(long ones, short ones, pointy ones,

or oval-ish ones. Is oval-ish a word?).

Make two curved lines for the dog’s

sides. Then add some half circles for

paws. Don’t forget a tail!

My granddaughter wanted to make

this a spotted dog so she added

random shapes everywhere and

colored them black.

There you have it. Easy-peasy.
