DIY Aquarium Stand Build

I built this modern style aquarium cabinet for a friend on a tight budget. I made this DIY woodworking project with inexpensive tools and materials. The construction is simple by using pocket holes and the cabinet can be made without a shop full of fancy woodworking machines. Thanks for watching

  1. Can you help me with what type of screws you use for the pocket holes? I’m gonna try to do this stand. Do you know how many pounds? Is this built rated for?

  2. Liked and Subscribed. Well put together, the stand and the video. I over build the hell outta my stands. How is this puppy holding up 4 years later?

  3. lol, “don’t need a garage full of equipment”…after using a garage full of equipment.

  4. Morning, I want to try and use this same design for a 125g. Do you know the weight capacity of the plywood on edge?

  5. you probably won’t reply to this video anymore but I want to build this and currently 4ftx8ft 3/4 plywood costs like $83 is that normal or is there a cheaper option? Like where should I buy in America

  6. Hi, if i use a 3/4 plywood for cabinet aquarium following your design, would it hold 250kg? Or do i need to support it with 2×4? Thanks!

  7. Great video! This was very inspiring. I would love to make one myself, but what adjustments would you make if I wanted to build a stand that is 120 cm wide , 50 deep and 100 cm tall (47in x 19in x 39in) to hold a 360L (80g)tank? Or a tank that weighs about 500kg (1102lb)? Can this be done without 2 by 4 if i add plywood to the center? Thanks in advance.
