In this episode of WWTV I on interview the president of the Consorzio di Tutela Barolo, Barbaresco, Alba, Langhe e Dogliani. He and 150 producers were in Austin in March of 2025 for the BBWO – Barolo Barbaresco World Opening featuring the 2021 Barolo and Barbaresco wines. Prior to this event they also held trade masterclasses and tastings in several cities in the U.S. including San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, and Houston.
The BBWO also had the same masterclass but this time the trade got to taste at least 300 wines. Later that evening the event reopened to the public.
