Tariffs, other policy developments: U-M business, economic scholars available to discuss

EXPERTS ADVISORY

Faculty experts from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business can provide insights on how tariffs and other recent economic policy decisions may impact U.S. businesses and consumers.

Their insights are topical as tariffs—or threats of them—dominate discussions and affect markets and economies across the globe. In a recent survey of chief economists by the World Economic Forum, 77% predicted higher tariffs will lead to higher inflation, and 89% expected a stagnation or decline in global trade for the remainder of the year.
