Post Malone Fan Raising Money For Mental Health Receives Big Surprise

This Post Malone fan learned that being kind can go a long way! After setting out to raise money for mental health by selling inspirational charm necklaces, she was met with the sweetest surprise by another sweet soul.

Melody had no idea what she could expect after setting out on a mission to raise money for mental health. But when Zachery Dereniowski, owner of the inspirational @mdmotivator account on social media, discovered what she was doing, he decided to help her out. See the inspiring video here.

In a recent post to his account, Dereniowski asked Melody about her plan to sell $ 5 charm necklaces featuring inspiring quotes that helped her through therapy and some mental health woes. When asked whether she struggled with mental health too, Melody explained that she has a history with mental health herself.

One necklace featured a quote from Post Malone that said, “But there’s still beauty in the nosedive.” After sharing that he is her favorite musical artists and that his music helped her during a difficult time in life, Dereniowski decided to give her the sweetest surprise of her life. Melody, who was attempting to raise $ 60 for mental health, was given $ 1,000, exceeding her goal. Although reluctant to accept, Melody did, knowing it could help many people who have experienced struggles with mental health.

Post Malone’s adorable gesture

If donating $ 1,000 wasn’t enough to help her cause, Dereniowski had a few more surprises for Melody. He gave her a Post Malone sweatshirt, as well, but there was something inside: an invite to meet Post Malone and attend his concert.

Melody had the opportunity to meet the artist who saved her life, which is a true gift. Upon meeting her idol, he picked out one of her charm necklaces to wear while performing on stage. After sharing a few hugs, Melody was able to watch Post Malone perform while representing her.

About Zachery Dereniowski

Without the assistance of Zachery Dereniowski and his kindness account, Melody wouldn’t have been able to meet her favorite artist, nor would her story touch so many lives. The @mdmotivator account has been an inspiration to many over the past five years, amassing over six million followers. While he never set out for viewers or to be recognized, his mission has allowed for that to happen.

I’m trying to grasp the human connection through storytelling, being vulnerable, and showing social proof that people are not alone,” Dereniowski shared in an interview.

Over the years, his content has continued to change lives and inspire those watching. And before you ask, no, he doesn’t have a script for his videos. Dereniowski knows that it would be easier to follow a monologue but that isn’t the point of his content.

“It would be easier to script the videos—but people would feel it,” he explained. “You feel what’s real when you watch. The realness is what the videos are about.”
