Burleigh Heads beach front is introducing a new all-day dining and drinking venue LiTO – located on the ground floor of the Mondrian Gold Coast, LiTO will open its doors to the public this Thursday 5 June.
Beverage options include a specially curated rotating wine list featuring both Australian and Italian producers. The bar will also be shaking up aperitivos, spritzes and house cocktails throughout the day, with a curated selection of Italian inspired drinks and classic cocktails.
The kitchen is led by Head Chef Andrea Morigi, whose previous culinary experience includes roles at Sydney’s Uccello and Jimmy’s Falafels. The venue offers an Italian-inspired menu centred on seasonal produce and simple preparation.
Some of the stand-out signature dishes to expect include hand-rolled pasta, slow-cooked porchetta, wood-fired breads, lobster bucatini, and tiramisu served tableside. Breakfast service will also be available, with offerings such as Calabrian-style poached eggs, sourdough toasties and wood-fired calzones.
The interior, designed by Sydney firm Alexander & CO, features a mix of Mediterranean textures and coastal Australian details. The layout includes indoor seating, outdoor tables and a semi-private chef’s table near the open kitchen and wood-fire oven.
